Gail Reid-Gurian, MA

Gail graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Gonzaga University, where she received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology. She has 27 years of experience working in the counseling and human services fields. Prior to joining the staff at Inland Psychiatry and Psychology, she gained experience at Hospice of Spokane as well as worked in a variety of settings, including Spokane Community Mental Health, the American Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, Catholic Charities Counseling in Spokane and private practice. She also has a wide range of experience, including work with families regarding attachment issues, elderly clients working with change of life and grief issues, terminally ill patients with death and dying issues, couples with relationship issues, and individuals with mental health and growth concerns. She enjoys working with children, teens and adults as well as providing individual, couples and family therapy. She tailors her sessions and treatment to meet the needs of the clients with whom she is working. Gail addresses patient concerns cognitively, behaviorally, medically, and environmentally. A few times a month, she volunteers for Lutheran Community Services as an advocate for violent crime and sexual assault victims.
